Prestations de Restauration (Sur Devis)

1. Dépose et Nettoyage

• Dé-entoilage et retrait de supports : Retrait d'anciens entoilages défectueux ou dépose d'affiches collées sur supports rigides (bois, carton, Isorel). Séparation d'affiches contrecollées les unes sur les autres.

• Lavage professionnel : Élimination des traces d'oxydation (plis sombres) et suppression des taches (rousseurs, humidité).

• Désacidification : * Phase aqueuse : Rétablissement d'un pH neutre pour stopper la dégradation acide.

  • Phase gazeuse : Procédé haute technologie approuvé par la BNF. Cette intervention peut être réalisée avec ou sans entoilage, même sur une œuvre déjà entoilée. Elle multiplie par 3 ou 4 la durée de vie du papier.

2. Consolidation et Structure

• Remise à plat sans entoilage : Réduction des plis et rapprochement des déchirures (lavage et désacidification possibles en complément).

• Resizing (Encollage) : Réintégration de fibres de papier et renforcement structurel par méthylcellulose.

• Montage sans tissu : Option de montage sur papier Japon ou papier Bolloré pour une conservation souple et légère.

3. Options d'Entoilage Traditionnel

Nous proposons différents supports de haute qualité selon le rendu souhaité :

• Papier Canson : Noir (160 g) ou blanc (120g,160 g et 200 g).

• Papier Fabriano Academia : Teinte très légèrement bistre (120 g, 160 g et 200 g).

• Interface : Finition avec papier Japon ou Bolloré pour une protection optimale.

4. Finitions et Mise en Valeur

• Montage sur châssis : Tension de l'œuvre entoilée sur un châssis en bois.

• Encadrement : Possibilité de montage en caisse américaine pour une présentation contemporaine et élégante.

Restoration Services (Quotes upon request)

1. Removal and Cleaning

• Backing removal and stripping: Removal of old or defective backing; stripping of posters mounted on rigid supports (wood, cardboard, hardboard). Separation of posters glued on top of one another.

• Professional washing: Elimination of oxidation marks (dark fold lines) and removal of stains (foxing, moisture).

• Deacidification: * Aqueous phase: Restoring a neutral pH to halt acidic degradation.

  • Gas phase: High-tech process approved by the BNF (National Library of France). This procedure can be performed with or without linen backing, even on already backed works. It increases the lifespan of the paper and prints by 3 to 4 times.

2. Consolidation and Structural Reinforcement

• Flattening without backing: Reduction of creases and realignment of tears (washing and deacidification available as additional services).

• Resizing: Re-integration of paper fibers and structural strengthening using methylcellulose.

• Paper-only mounting: Mounting options using Japanese paper or Bolloré paper for flexible and lightweight conservation.

3. Traditional Backing Options

We offer a variety of high-quality supports depending on the desired finish:

• Canson Paper: Black (160g) or White (160g and 200g).

• Fabriano Academia Paper: Slightly off-white/bistre tint (120g, 160g, and 200g).

• Interface: Finish using Japanese or Bolloré paper for optimal protection.

4. Finishing and Presentation

• Stretching on wooden frame: Tension-mounting the backed work onto a custom wooden stretcher.

• Framing: Floating frame options (Floater frames / Caisse américaine) for a contemporary and elegant presentation.
